I see someone request a system that they can use to replace Jira in Notion almost every day so I collaborated with the CTO of the startup that I work for to create this template. Needless to say, this isn't a full Jira replacement but we were able to replicate a lot of the core structure. You'll have everything that you need here to get up and running, and it'll serve as a solid foundation for you to build on. The beauty of managing your workflow in Notion of course, is that you can customise far more of this system compared to Jira.
This template is designed for the Scrum methodology but if you prefer to use Kanban then it can be easily adapted.
You can automatically generate sequential page IDs for the items in your Tickets database using my Make and Apple Shortcuts automations.
A cheaper, more flexible and easier to adopt alternative to Jira.
Organise work into manageable sprints, based on estimates which calculate how much work the team can complete before the end of the sprint.
Keep track of how many story points your team delivers in each sprint to increase the accuracy of future planning.
Give other teams in the business visibility of your progress so that customer support can update customers and the marketing team can plan feature launches.
The database orientated structure means that this template will be compatible with the integrations that are created using the Notion API.
A collaboration with an app that adds more of Jira's functionality to Notion is on the way...
I recently recorded a podcast episode with productivity guru Jenny Blake, where I shared some advice about setting up your CRM, automations that I use and more. You can listen to the episode here.
