Notion is a system made up of hierarchies. Pages are nested inside other pages and often, multiple items from a child database, like tasks, link to a single item in a parent database, like a project.
These are the building blocks that all software is built from.
The thing is, if you're used to working with documents and spreadsheets, this hierarchical structure is probably a fairly alien concept to you.
Fortunately I've spent more than 7 years building hierarchical systems and I've come up with a set of principals that I use to design flexible, scalable, future-proof Notion workspaces.
When I help you to set up your system, I'll share those principals with you and use them to create a modular design which you can easily add to over time, as your business and your use of Notion evolves.
