I spent 3 years working as a Sales Operations Manager, managing a Salesforce CRM. Initially the CRM was used by a 9 person sales team in the UK but I onboarded 75+ users, from sales, account management and customer support in the UK, USA, Asia and Australia.
Salesforce is a system made up of relational databases, just like Notion so this is where I first learned how to create a scalable, flexible architecture. I also spent plenty of time gathering requirements and mapping processes, before translating those into user friendly solutions in Salesforce. Building lots of new functionality and onboarding several different teams to Salesforce also meant that I spent a lot of time training users to help them make the most of the platform as soon as possible.
I discovered Notion over 5 years ago and became a very active member of the Notion Made Simple Facebook Group, which I now help manage. I created more than 50 templates and guides for community members, trying out all sorts of use cases.
At the same time I spent several years working in marketing roles for FinTech startups, using Notion for 2 years with different teams.
I've been working as a Notion consultant full time since the beginning of 2021 and became a Notion Certified Consultant in July that year. I also have Notion's Settings & Sharing Badge.
